Sinn Fein wasn’t established until the early 20th century. Since the American Revolution was begun by people who were not ethnically different from the British, Sinn Fein has much more in common with, say, Poles, Catalans or Armenians, different nationalities who tried to break away from large dominant empires.
That said, the ideology of the American Revolution, and, moreso, the French, affected that of the Irish rebellions. There was a major Irish uprising in 1798, in the wake of the French, and not too distant from the American revolutions. But it was but one of many, all crushed until 1920.
